Leading the way was the Global Coalition Against Child Pneumonia, made up of NGOs, academic institutions, government agencies, and foundations. Coalition members used diverse advocacy strategies, from spirited marches to far-reaching social media campaigns, to remind policymakers that the fight against pneumonia is not yet over.
