The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation is described on the foundation website as is a family foundation which is driven by the interests and passions of the Gates family. It is the position of the Gates family that science and technology have great potential to improve the lives of people around the world. And it is the stated principle of this foundation that “All Lives Have Equal Value.” Yet, there is some controversy surrounding this foundation.
